My name is Zoe, I’m Beckie’s old 12 week body-transformation client, a past and current dance student and now her full time PA. It’s safe to say Beckie changed my life forever in more ways than one.
Do you find yourself stuck in a negative rut and struggling to get out of it? Are you putting other people’s feelings before yours? Do you care about what other people think of you way to much? I did before I trained with Beckie too.
I remember being sat in Costa Coffee with Beckie when we first met properly. We spoke about everythinggg, from boys, friendships, family, you name it, we spoke about it all. All my emotions came out and I remember thinking, how am I going to change my mind set and the way I think about things? But I was so determined to do something about how I felt, I just knew she was the one person that could help me.
I have learnt so much from training with Beckie, and I really want to share it with you.  These daily tips get me through LIFE. Small, but vital. Beckie made me realise this.
So, here are a few things I learnt to do which worked really well for me, I hope these help you as well!
1) Put yourself first
This was one of my main problems before I trained with Beckie. I always struggled to put myself before anyone else. Beckie told me time and time again to think about what YOU want in life and the person YOU want to be, rather than what other people want for you. I have learnt it’s completely ok to be a little selfish sometimes and to be honest with what YOU want. Not everyone else.
 2) Have a hobby
Having a weekly hobby helps you to switch off from work mode for a couple of hours, and thanks to Beckie I started dancing again, and I LOOVE IT! Now, I can’t imagine life without dance and have made the most amazing group of insanely supportive, loving, hilarious & extremely talented lifelong friends since I started.
3) Surround yourself with positive people
Another thing Beckie taught me is if you surround yourself with positive people who have the same morals and attitudes as you, and it’s alright to cut people off who don’t add something to your life! Is that person you’re constantly worried about adding light or darkness to your life? If it doesn’t serve you, cut it! Your life is your life, no one else’s, remember that.
 4) Tomorrow is a new day attitude
Everyone has off days, your only human! If you wake up and feel negative or sad, think about 3 things you are grateful for, I did this and it really helped me!
 5) Have a weekly/daily routine
If you write a list daily or weekly with what you want to achieve, once you tick things off the list you will feel so much more productive and satisfied. You can then look back at the end of the day or week and see how much you have done!
Training with Beckie and attending her dance classes has improved my confidence to the point I couldn’t ever imagine before and I have changed my lifestyle completely. My parents tell me how much Beckie’s changed my life and I can honestly say I have never been a happier, more energetic person with an actual sense of self-worth and love for myself which I couldn’t never feel before.
A lot of people find themselves in a vicious cycle of negativity and they can’t get out of it. I was one of those people. But as Beckie told me, everyone can change their thought process,  you just need to stay focused, and WANT to change, and you will get there!
If I can do it, you can.
