January’s member of the month is…

SORAYA!

A once shy (but polite) small girl walked into our class and we are so proud that today she has grown so much and become a confident and passionate woman.

She does our commercial/contemporary classes and our hip hop/afro classes. In classes, she listens intently and really puts all her energy into every class. She comes in smiling with a massssive grin on her face and makes sure to say hi to every person in the room.

In contemporary she shines – check out a video of her here! She’s a natural performer and puts all her emotions out on the floor. Her freestyles are incredible and really touch every person in the room with her emotive energy. She works amazingly with others through her interaction and is able to convey beautiful stories through her movement. Her love and passion for dancing always comes through and we can see that in every class.

Throughout show rehearsals she was a pleasure to work with and always eager to learn something new. She listens as much as she gives and always takes things on board, always working as a team. She gave us energy, performance and commitment in every rehearsal and we value that so so much. Keep doing you Soraya! We see you.
