WOW..JUST WOW.
Let’s rewind to April earlier this year, this absolute star was a quiet, reserved, (10 years old!) who joined the KIDZ Hip Hop classes, and as soon as I saw her dance, I knew that she could go far.
She takes note of every single bit of advice that I give her in class and applies it. When I saw her, I  was SO EXCITED by her potential. The kids class had a break over August and when she came back after Summer, she came back with a BANG! I could tell straight away she had been practicing. She was completely FLAT in the splits for starters, and she was even more hungry than before.
In September, she moved up to Advanced Adult Hip Hop 11+ classes. Yes she was the youngest out of the 50+ dancers in the room but that did not phase her or me in the slightest. I had no doubt that she would kill it in this class, and she proved herself more than right!
To me this girl is amazing. She doesn’t moan, she doesn’t natter, she comes in to TRAIN. This mindset on anyone is amazing, let alone our little Maisy Moo, aged just 11, with heaps of potential and the mindset to go with it.
Excuses are no option. She is hungry, positive, committed, a hard worker and one of the sweetest souls I know! Every single week she comes to class bouncing with enthusiasm ready to kill it, asking questions – I COULD GO ON AND ON. She films each week because she wants to track her progress, putting herself front centre up against all the big, ugly and scary adults in class 😉 just kidding…  and let me just say she SLAYSSS it every time!
Her musicality at such a young age is outstanding, and not to mention, her flavour and sass is on POINT! You wouldn’t even know that she is the youngest person in the room, but who cares anyway?! Age makes absolutely no difference. She carries herself in such a mature way, her confidence is contagious and she is working her butt off every single week, and that’s all that matters.
Maisy – To see this kind of hunger and passion from you at aged 11, and seeing how focused, determined, committed but most of all FEARLESS you are, is inspiring to us all. You put yourself at the front of class every week, because you don’t want to miss a thing, you make every single class count AND you put in 100% week after week, I am so proud of you girl. Here’s to the rest of you ADC journey.

Keep slaying it Maisy-Moo, we love you!
