If you have danced for 10 years or 10 minutes… it doesn’t matter, YOU NEED TECHNIQUE TRAINING. No matter what style of dance you do, some technique training can go a longggg way.

What you need technique training for:

HIP HOP/AFRO

Technique training will help your footwork placement, being aware of your body and being able to get low to find those unique hip hop/afro grooves. That strength in your body is sooo important for hitting those sharper moves.

HEELS

Heels includes A LOT of jazz and ballet technique in its foundations. It is so crucial to be able to keep your alignment to make those sexy shapes and be able to practice heels safely. P.S. if you don’t think there is any technique in heels just check out @melissabee on Instagram.

COMMERCIAL

Technique training will help improve your lines in commercial as well as getting that power in your body to do sharp turns. If you wanna be in a music video you have gotta have some technique practice.

CONTEMPORARY

Contemporary is the BIG one! There is a lot of technique embedded into every single contemporary routine – leaps/turns/kicks you name it.

So come join us this Sunday in our 2-hour technique workshop where you will get 1-1 feedback with the incredible Taylor Whitehouse to help you grow (whether that be from being a complete beginner to a dancer with over 100 hours of training).

OUR TECHNIQUE WORKSHOP THIS SUNDAY 9TH JULY WILL NOW BE FROM 11AM-1PM. You can book by clicking here: TECHNIQUE WORKSHOP. You can also improve your technique in our contemporary class, check it out here: https://thearmydc.com/classes/.
